Q: What do you think the slaves though of Harriet's plan at first?

W: I was amazed at the courage and strength that Harriet had to bring her and all of her fellow slaves to freedom in Canada. when I read this book for the first time I could not believe that Harriet was a real character, but now I know that if you put your mind to it your dreams can come true.
I: When the North Star became visible to Harriet I then had a clear, bright, and glowing image of the northern star in the sky awaiting my arrival!

I: A strong image that came into my mind was when Harriet couldn't get out of because she had bruises and blisters. So in the book they described how the door was open a bit so there was a gust of wind and Harriet just was comforted when the wind hit her so she just fell in bed, tucked her covers and fell asleep.
