A2- I think the Underground Railroad was named that way because it was very secret, just like an underground tunnel. I think it had "Railroad" in its name because like a train, it had stops, and those stops were to get food, and supplies. Of course, the underground railroad wasn't really a train, or underground, it was a route for slaves to go through.

ReplyDeleteYour questions were great questions to be asking as those are two main parts of the story. Another part i like about your writing is that you included history into your second answer which make your answers a lot more logical and able to believe. To Be Continued...
Q1 - What do you think was the reason why the others didn't want to escape?
ReplyDeleteA1 - It was probably because the were scared. They might have thought of only the bad reasons and didn't want to risk their life for their freedom. Thought they wanted freedom, they didn't want to die trying to get it.
Q2 - Why do you think that the law has been changed to abolish slavery?
A2 - I think that the reason for this is because the Government system has realized that everyone should be equal. It is also possible that the people learned more about slavery and demanded that the government remove it from the world.
Great questions they could be more deep on one of them but great questions.

A- I think she'll escape the first time but I think she will inherited second try with bunch of children.
Your answer wasn't so clear because persecution is a lot of things not just slavery. You could make your second question more clear like who is the girl who's trying to escape and you could do the same to your second answer.
